We at ISKCON Chowpatty conduct a 3 months Sabbatical program in which unmarried men in the age group of 18 to 40 can come and experience the life of a monk at the temple for 3 months. The said program is a full-time residential program at ISKCON Chowpatty, and shall be conducted thrice in a year. ISKCON Chowpatty hosts one of the world’s most experienced Brahmachari Ashrams with several monks having spent over 2 or 3 decades in the Ashram, who have lots of spiritual experiences and wisdom to share with the prospective candidates.

Eligibility & Entrance
This program is intended for unmarried males in the age group of 18 to 40. The applicants must be chanting 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and following the 4 regulative principles for atleast 1 year before start of program. The candidates must submit a Consent Form duly signed by ones guardians and/ or the local temple authorities. An interview shall be conducted and subject to clearing the same the candidates can join.
