Sri Krishna Is Not A Disrupter

Sri Krishna Is Not A Disrupterr

When the brāhmaṇa wives hesitated to return home—fearing rejection for having disobeyed their husbands in their yearning to serve Sri Krishna—the Supreme Personality of Godhead consoled them with His divine assurance:

“Rest assured that your husbands will not be inimical toward you, nor will your fathers, brothers, sons, relatives, or the general populace. I will personally explain everything to them. Indeed, even the devatas will approve of your action. For you to remain in My physical company would not please the world, nor would it best nourish your love for Me.

(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.23)

Similarly, when the Gopīs left their homes in the stillness of the night to meet Sri Krishna, He protected their honor through His divine potency. The cowherd men, deluded by Krishna’s yogamāyā, believed their wives were still by their side and thus felt no resentment.
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.33)

The beauty of Sri Krishna and His devotees lies not in defying society, but in harmonizing the eternal love for God with the sacred responsibility of one’s svadharma.
